Flash / Web Developer

Main Purpose:
Self Management Group is a privately held company that has been in business since 1979. Self Management Group specializes in psychometric profiling to help companies select, develop and retain top performers in their organizations. Our organization provides a comprehensive range of products and services, which include: psychometric screening and profiling tools, management and individual training, team building workshops, selection process validation, change management, stress management, succession planning, mentoring and coaching.

We are seeking a talented Flash (expert) and web developer. This highly motivated CREATIVE individual will be responsible for development of customized Flash applications for our clients. This individual should be comfortable working independently on Flash projects as the sole Flash expert in the organization. For other web development the individual will collaborate with the rest of the web development team.

Minimum Required Skills:

• Must have minimum of 3 years experience in action scripting (AS2 & AS3)
• Flash animation skills
• AJAX, JSON, Javascript, CSS
• Strong database and connectivity skills: MySQL, XML and external data sources
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Strong command of the English language, written and verbal
• Knowledge of video and multimedia integration

Advanced Skills Desired:

• Basic understanding of .Net, C#
• Experience developing dynamic web sites
• Basic understanding of Windows 2003 and web servers

• Strong problem-solving and optimization skills
• Excellent planning and documentation skills
