Dishwasher
OVERVIEW
Under regular supervision, ensures that the Food and Beverage Department has clean cooking utensils and service utensils for guests according to DHEC standards and all other applicable health and sanitation standards. Reports to the Dishwasher Crew Leader or supervisor on duty.
KEY Functions
- Follows and complies with DHEC and all other applicable health, sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices
- Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, and implements used by guests and the food and beverage staff in preparing foods for the hot and cold cases
- Maintains a level of organization with proper storage and handling of equipment
- Responsible for cleaning kitchen areas, recycling, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash on a daily basis
- Operates and sanitizes a variety of equipment such as a dishwasher, chemical dispensers, trash cans, etc. in a safe and proper manner and on a routine basis
- Reports maintenance requirements to supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to maintain customer focused, positive, team-approach effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, and guests while providing four star service
- The ability to manage multiple tasks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Prefers a high school diploma, supplemented by one year dishwasher experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
