Pier Cafe Cashier
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and assist customers with food orders, maintain cash till, reconcile daily sales, completing cashier reporys), complete daily operations log, write-off/comp logs and any other department forms
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area: complete routine cleaning duties and general opening/closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer queries, telephone orders, special requests, etc. Must be knowledgeable of menu items and pricing, have general knowledge of pier operations, retail shop offerings and resort layout, amenities & services
- Adhere to all state (DHEC) (SLED) and company standards related to the safe preparation, storage and handling of all food items and the service of alcohol beverages
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area, clearing tables, emptying trash, stocking condiments and paper supplies, sweeping and mopping, cleaning windows and restrooms as needed
- Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures and regulations
- Complete any other assigned duties
