Pier Shop Attendee
OVERVIEW
Under regular supervision, participates in the visual display and routine stocking of gift store merchandise. Aids in monitoring inventory levels and serving as cashier for the shop. Reports directly to the Pier Shop Supervisor.
KEY Functions
- Maintains product displays, rotates, cleans and stocks merchandise as needed
- Build and move displays and/or product to establish best location for sales of items
- Assists pier management in receiving merchandise by checking orders against packing lists as needed
- Operates cash register as assigned
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer customer questions and telephone
- Completes other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Above average customer service skills
- Above average computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and POS software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to exert up to twenty-five lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force to lift, CatTY, push, pull or otherwise move objects when needed
- Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work; must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time
