DEVELOPING HSBC'S KEY RELATIONSHIP BANKERS

HSBC US Bank is working with SMG to develop their Premier Relationship Managers. The entire group completed Sales Pros, and we worked with the results and performance data to determine the characteristics of top performers in the role.

Using this model in conjunction with a customized Career Development Selection Rater, which includes a customized process for interviewing & assessing individual fit and performance, each PRM is building a personal development plan for continuous improvement and coaching. Branch Managers will receive Managing Effort coaching training, and this will be followed with Sales Self Management for the PRM’s.

The goal: Higher employee satisfaction and self management, leading to higher performance and retention of PRM’s and their clients.
