Chris Gee, PhD
Director – Research Services
Chris joined the Self Management Group in 2006 and completed his PhD at the University of Toronto in 2010 in the area of Sport and Social Psychology. Chris’s research is concerned with understanding the social and psychological determinants of violent behaviour in men’s ice hockey. Chris also teaches undergraduate courses at the University of Toronto, and is a practicing sport consultant.
Chris has a strong background in statistics and research methods, and has taught courses in these disciplines at the undergraduate level. Chris has also developed several psychometric tools, both for his own research and use within the broader field of psychology.
As the Director of Research Services, Chris is responsible for overseeing all internal and external validation studies, as well as disseminating this information to clients.
