Major Function:
While this position may involve handling all Customer touch points including Inbound & Outbound phone calls & fax transmissions, e-mail & web page correspondence, surface mail, the main focus of this position is to close sales to new accounts who have received a PostCard offer and/or a personalized sample that they requested. Following established sales policies and processes are essential to ensure prompt and high quality service. Almost all of the Customer and Internal company interactions are conducted in English with business owners and managers.
Reporting:
This position reports directly to an Outbound Team Leader, and indirectly to the Customer Service Manager.
Experience And Background:
- Excellent English conversational skills with a minimal accent. Good written English skills
- Sales experience is highly desirable, especially sales done over the Phone
- Experience in an Inbound Call Centre environment supporting US English speaking customers is desirable
- Experience in a retail, hotel, tourism or hospitality environment
- Experience in an office environment is desired
Specific Responsibilities as a Post Card Follow Up Representative
- Perform various Inbound and Outbound Sales functions for US clients, with excellent English language conversational and written skills, as directed by the Team Lead or Manager, according to established policy and process, including:
- Outbound follow up sales calls, emails, etc. to Prospects and Customers
- Present Myron's products to prospects
- Overall need to maintain a positive sales environment and achieve growth in their account base by exceeding their sales forecast
- Inbound Customer Call handling (product inquiries, up-selling and cross selling with prospects, etc)
- Order Entry (primarily via the phone, fax or web)
- Various other reporting or projects as assigned by management
- Meet all department goals & standards regarding sales result, productivity and quality
- Accurately key in orders, make changes, and obtain imprint information, logo, etc. during the sales call. All sales calls must closely follow company prepared sales presentation guidelines
- Quote prices, inform customers of new and/or existing products, persuade customers to buy and/or increase through utilization of benefit selling, volume pricing and/or premium incentive programs for the existing and new client base. Such programs to be established by management.
- Handling Order Entry and Process Order into the System
- Ensure availability to receive inbound calls via sign-in status on phone system so that Customer wait-times are maintained at or above standard
- Demonstrate good judgement in decision-making
- Develop sound interpersonal relations and gains cooperation of and supporting subordinates and peers, as well as staff supported in other offices
- Perform other allied duties as assigned by Senior Management
- Accomplish objectives consistent with plans. Operating within authority following Company policies including Health and Safety rules
- Provide timely communications and keep others informed
Education:
University or College degree. Business or Marketing is preferred. Bilingual Schooling is preferred.
