Cashier Supervisor
OVERVIEW
Receives and disburses money for payment of goods purchased and assists customers. Supervises other employees in the task of keeping the dining room area stocked and cleaned.
Will be responsible for assigning tasks to other employees while also assisting in these tasks.KEY FUNCTIONS
- Supervises other cashiers and dining room staff
- Operate cash register and assist customers, maintain cash till, reconcile daily sales, completing cashier report(s), complete daily operations log, write-off/comp logs and any other department forms
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area: complete routine cleaning duties and general opening/closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer queries, telephone orders, special requests, etc. Must be knowledgeable of menu items and pricing, have general knowledge of resort layout, amenities & services
- Adhere to all state (DHEC) and company standards related to the safe preparation, storage and handling of all food items
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area, clearing tables, emptying trash, stocking condiments and paper supplies, sweeping and mopping, cleaning windows and restrooms as needed
- Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures and regulations
- Complete any other assigned duties
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally
- Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work; must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift/carry weights of up to fifty pounds
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- The ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff members
- Ability to be self-motivated
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma supplemented by experience
