Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare food in consistent manner to required specifications, utilizing portion control methods and presentation requirements
- Adhere to all state (DHEC) and company standards related to the safe preparation, storage, handling and service of all food items
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area: completing routine cleaning duties and general opening/closing procedures
- Maintain sufficient levels of product and prep food as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer queries, special requests, etc. Must be knowledgeable of menu items and pricing, have general knowledge of pier operations, retail shop offerings and resort layout, amenities & services
- Assist in stocking and prepping of food, condiments, paper supplies, etc.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, clearing tables, emptying trash, stocking condiments and paper supplies, sweeping and mopping, cleaning windows and restrooms as needed
- Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures and regulations
- Complete any other assigned duties
