TAX SPECIALIST (Canadian)This challenging position calls for a dedicated individual to work in our tax group to service the planning and compliance needs of our clients. This position provides the opportunity to participate in a broad range of tax-related work that will require skillful analysis, assessment and quantification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of public accounting experience with owner-managed businesses. The candidate must possess a CA designation.
Enrollment in, or recent completion of, the CICA In-Depth Tax Course would be highly beneficial. This position will capitalize on your writing, training, research and interpersonal communication skills to provide tax support to our client base. US tax experience would be an asset. The position will include assisting senior staff members with tax issues, recognizing tax issues and planning opportunities for owner-managed businesses and individual clients.
Attendance to training seminars, professional development courses, and annual conferences will be an essential part of your job. Planning, preparing and presenting materials to the staff of the firm will also be expected. You will be expected to keep abreast of new developments in all areas of tax. We would also support participation in instructing at the School of Accountancy or In-Depth tax course.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Caseware, Profile, and Folio-based tax research software is essential.

US TAX SPECIALIST
